PERRY EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: Donations of food can be placed in the box in the Narthex or financial donations can be mailed to 6 North Main Street, PO Box 222.

2015 OVERING ENVELOPES: For those of you who use envelopes for your donation...they can be picked any time. Please make sure you write you name next to the number that you take by the 1st of the year.

EMAIL ADDRESSES: When we switched over to the new computer in the church office (which we had to update due to outdated software that is no    longer compatible with several other programs that we use) we were unable to transfer all of the email addresses that we had. So...if you would like to receive emails from church would you please send an email to the church office so that I can add it to the contacts. Thanks...Kellie       

PRAYER REQUEST: Mission of Peace trip to India. Please keep in prayer the contingent of United Methodists from the Northeastern  Jurisdiction that are traveling on this year's Mission of Peace (MOP). 

THANK YOU ~ A word of thanks and praise to our church family. Your prayers, thoughts and cards were deeply appreciated. As a result, my knee is healing very well after surgery. And I have all of you to thank for this! I am now back to work and continuing my therapy for a full recovery. May each of you be blessed with a very Merry Christmas. ~ Lynette & Gary Slocum

LIFT IT UP @ THE YMCA ~ there will not be a Lift It Up in January.  The next date will be February 1.  Hope to see you then.

CHRISTMAS MEMORIAL PLANTS: Plants that are left after Christmas Sunday will be taken to the home bound.

PLEDGE CARDS: If you haven’t turned in your pledge card and plan on doing so...please have them turned in before the end of the year ~ Thank you.

YEAR END GIVING: If you plan to make any financial donations that you want credited for this year...please make sure that they are received before the last Sunday of the year (December 28th). Any payments RECEIVED after that will be credited to the new year regardless of the date written on the check.

THANK YOU ~ Thank You to everyone for supporting our annual Operation Christmas Child project. Your contributions of money for shipping, items for shoe boxes and filled shoe boxes will help needy children have a nice Christmas this year. 42 boxes and enough money for shipping were donated!

COOKIE SALEHomemade Holiday Cookie Sale at Brick Presbyterian Church, Sat., Dec. 20 from 10 am till noon.  Proceeds benefit the mission projects of the Presbyterian Women’s group.

PERRY CITIZEN’S BAND CONCERT: December 15 @ 7 PM at the Perry First United Methodist Church.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: will be held on Dec.14th @ 11 AM! Join us for a Pot-Luck-Lunch following the service with a “Special Surprise” for the Children after lunch! Please bring a dish to pass. Table service and drinks will be provided. Gifts for children will be provided. Please let the church office know the name and age of any children that you know will be planning to attend by December 12th~ thank you!

LIFT IT UP: The next Lift It Up is Dec. 7 at the Warsaw YMCA.  Praise and worship time will begin at 5:00 and activities will begin about 5:45.

THE GENESEE CHORALE under the direction of Ric Jones and accompanied by Doug Hanson, invites you to our Christmas concert, “Light” on Friday, December 12 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Episcopal Church at 405 E. DARKNESS INTO LIGHT: On Sunday, December 14th at 3:00 PM the First UMC of Warsaw’s choir and friends will perform its annual Christmas Cantata “Darkness into Light”. Everyone is invited to join the celebration and refreshments will be served after the performance. An offering for the Food Pantry will be taken.

ECUMENICAL BIBLE STUDY SCHEDULE: Will be cancelled until April!

POINSETTIA & CYCLAMEN SALE: Plants can be picked up Dec. 6th at 10 AM.

PAMA COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING SERVICE: CRANBERRY SAUCE for the Thanksgiving Baskets can be brought to church anytime before the service here on November 24.

PIES FOR INMATES: If anyone is interested in making apple or pumpkin pies for the inmates/staff at the jail please have them at church by Wednesday morning, the 26th or you can drop them off by 11am that day, or the day before (Tuesday) at Holy Apostles Episcopal Church.

GIVING TUESDAY IS COMING ~ This year’s online giving campaign will be on Dec. 2.  Visit www.umcmission.org/give to search for Advance projects and give.

SHOEBOXES: Extended hours for drop-offs of OCC shoeboxes will be available at: United Church of Warsaw - Mon - Wed 8-noon OR at the Batavia Assembly of God Mon - Wed 11-3pm if anyone still has a shoebox that they want to drop off.

UM STUDENT DAY SUNDAYYour support prepares students to continue the Methodist Tradition of Changing the world through a life of service for Christ. Please give generously on November 30th.
