In Haiti, 100,000 children under five suffer from acute malnutrition. SPECIAL EMERGENCY OFFERING: Please keep the people in Nepal in your thoughts and prayers as they deal with the aftermath of the earthquake that  occurred on April 25. More than 4,000 are dead, more than 6,500 people are injured, and thousands are living in tents as their homes have been destroyed. A special offering for the Nepal earthquake relief can be made by using the envelope in this week’s bulletin or by going online to UMCOR's International Disaster Relief Fund Advance #982450.             

LOVING GOD W/YOUR CAMERA @ ASBURY: Nancy Wilson will be leading a workshop at Asbury on May 16th (registration deadline in May 8th) from 9-4. The cost is $25 and included lunch and the workshop. More information can be found at the Asbury website, table in the Narthex or straight from Nancy!

PERRY GARDEN CLUB’S: annual Plant Variety & Baked Goods sale is Saturday, May 9th from 9-12 PM at the Perry Fireman’s Building in Perry Park. There will be Annuals, Perennials, Hanging Baskets, Baked Goods & a        Children’s Corner.

YOUTH CHOIR! All children and youth from ages 6 to 15 are invited to join Val Kelly for the Youth Choir practice on Sundays at 10:30 AM in the 2nd floor Sunday School Room for a special Mother’s Day tribute.

A VITAL CONGREGATION MEETING The Vital Congregation Meetings with that were scheduled for April 30th and May 2nd have been POSTPONED. At this time a new date has not been set. As soon as it has...I will let you know!
