Obituary for Susanne J. Blythe
Susanne J. Blythe
Susanne J. Blythe, 77 of Warsaw formerly of Perry passed away on Sunday December 23, 2018 at Rochester General Hospital in RochestSue was born in Warsaw, NY on March 23, 1941 a daughter of the late George and Mae (Torrens) Stanton. She worked for the former Champion Products and Archway Cookies in Perry. She was a member of the First United Methodist in Perry. Sue enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter: Ronda Subject of Rochester, son: Christopher Blythe of LeRoy, grandchildren: Nicholas (Brianna Owen) Subject and Jasmine Subject, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her long time companion Edward Smith II who passed away in 2016, 2 sisters: Doris Bennion and Hazel Parhalo and 2 brothers: George and Thomas Stanton. Family and friends may call from 1-3pm on Saturday December 29th at the Eaton-Watson Funeral Home, LLC. 98 North Main St. in Perry where services will follow at 3pm. She will be laid to rest in Grace 
Cemetery in Castile.

LEON C. PATRICK

Obituary for Leon C. Patrick

Leon C. Patrick, age 85 of Perry, NY passed away on Friday September28, 2018 at Eastside Nursing Home in Warsaw where he had been residing. He was born in Warsaw, NY on January 27, 1933 a son to the late Leon and Delora (Arnold) Patrick.

Leon was a graduate of Perry High School class of 1951. He served with the US Marines during the Korean Conflict.


Leon owned and operated the former Patrick Keystone in Perry in the early 1970’s, he later was employed as a truck driver for the former Archway Cookie Co. in Perry retiring in 1997.


He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry where he was involved in the church choir, taught Sunday school and was the church custodian. He was also a member of the Perry Kiwanis Club, McKelton Post #350 of the American Legion in Perry and the former Perry Area Jr. Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed gardening, taking walks, riding his bicycle and cross country skiing.
