Friends,

As the late hour of the afternoon comes upon us, I would ask you to stop what you're doing and offer up prayers of peace for our nation.  Please offer up prayers for all involved.  Remember the words "Let there be peace on earth" and may it be so in our nation tonight.  Please light a candle of peace whether real or electric to shine in our little corner of the United States.

Greetings friends,

Thank you for your prayers yesterday.  Our nation is still torn by the events of January 6.  Please know that you are all in my prayers as well.  As we journey over these next two weeks, I would ask each of you to let your light shine so others may see it.  Be the Light of Christ to a nation torn apart.  Leading up to the election in November, we focused on being God's love to the world, loving our neighbor and remembering love is kind.  Let us not forget that moving forward.  Finally, for the next two weeks and maybe longer, light a candle each night so the world will see the Light of Christ.  (preferably an electric or battery candle).  I have placed an electric candle in my office window so our neighbors will see the Light of Christ.  BE THE LIGHT!!
