WHILE THE PASTOR IS AWAY…While Pastor Ray and Donna are out-of-town from Feb. 24 to March 6, please contact Rev. Doug Wilson for any pastoral needs. He can be reached at 493-7066 (home) or 261-9008 (cell). Holy Communion will be celebrated next on March 8th instead of the first Sunday of the month. On March 1st, the United Methodist Women will be leading worship - please join them!

MALARIA UPDATE: The World Health Organization’s World Malaria Report 2014 report says that the malaria mortality rate decreased by 47 percent worldwide between 2000 and 2013. The use of insecticide-treated bed nets is one important reason for the drop, the report said. The United Methodist Church’s Imagine No Malaria initiative has distributed more than 2.3 million bed nets, and is working towards its goal to raise $75 million by 2015 to dramatically reduce deaths and suffering in Africa. Please consider giving to the Imagine No Malaria campaign during Lent.
