General  Announcements

ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING: Together we reach children, families and communities who have experienced devastation in the wake of disaster! One Great Hour of Sharing is Sunday,  March 15.Please give generously!

CLEANING BUCKETS: The UMW are asking for donations for Cleaning Buckets. Each bucket costs $65.00 and the money will be sent to UMCOR. The buckets contain supplies to help clean up areas after flooding. Collection Buckets will be placed in the back of the Church each Sunday thru Lenten Season.

PERRY EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: Donations of food can be placed in the box in the Narthex or financial donations can be mailed to 6 North Main Street, PO Box 222.

STOP HUNGER NOW: The Upper New York Conference will once again package meals during the 2015 Annual Conference Session.  Email Kellie for the link to register or for more information.

YOUTH CHOIR STARTING! On Sunday, March 22nd at 10:30 am in the large 2nd floor Sunday School room near the sanctuary all children and youth from ages 6 to 15 are invited to join Mrs. Val Kelly for the Youth Choir practice. Practice will be over in time for church at 11 am.  Come to learn and sing some fun and special songs.  We are hoping to have special songs ready for Mother’s Day.  At the practice, a schedule of future practice days will be handed out but generally the time will be at 10:30 am on Sunday mornings.  You are welcome to invite your friends.  Hope to see you there!  

YOUTH RETREAT: The 2015 UP!WORD experience April 24-26 at the Holiday Inn, Liverpool. See Kellie for more information or to register.

ONLINE COURSE: United Methodism 101 is an online course, conducted from April 1 to May 13 for anyone who wants to know more about the history, structure, beliefs and ministries of the Church. Cost is $9.99 and registration is due by March 31...See Kellie for information to register.

PRE-CONFERENCE BRIEFING: The Upper New York Conference will have a Pre-Conference Briefing at Asbury Camp & Retreat Center on May 2nd from 9-11 AM. This briefing will be preceded by a 30-minute coffee/snack and fellowship time.

FILLMORE DRAMA CLUB: will present The Music Man on March 18th @ Noon, and again on March 20th & 21st at 7:30 PM. Admission is free. Call 567-2251 for more information.

PARSONS OPEN HOUSE: will take place TODAY from 1-5 PM at the workshop in Bristol Center in Canandaigua. You are invited to bring music and play the 40 Rank Pipe Organ.

THANK YOU ~ We would like to thank our church family and friends for their support by prayers, thoughts and card received.  A special thank you to Pastor Ray and Doug Wilson for their home visits. Gary’s surgery went well. He is currently cancer free and heading on to a full recovery! We praise the Lord for this! Thank you for making this possible. ~ Gary & Lynette Slocum
