General  Announcements

PERRY EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY: Donations of food can be placed in the box in the Narthex or financial donations can be mailed to 6 North Main Street, PO Box 222.
                       
CLEANING BUCKETS: The UMW are asking for donations for Cleaning Buckets. Each bucket costs $65.00 and the money will be sent to UMCOR. The buckets contain supplies to help clean up areas after flooding. Collection Buckets will be placed in the back of the Church each Sunday thru the Lenten Season.

YOUTH CHOIR STARTING! All children and youth from ages 6 to 15 are invited to join Val Kelly for the Youth Choir practice on Sundays at 10:30 AM in the 2nd floor Sunday School Room for a special Mother’s Day tribute. You are welcome to invite your friends.  Hope to see you there!  

CHICKEN BBQ & BAZAAR: will be held at the Covington UMC. Saturday, April 25th from 4-7 PM. Adults meals are $9.50 and children under 12 are $5. Take outs will be available.

COMFERENCE STOP HUNGER NOW: Registration is STILL open for the 2015 Annual Conference session's feeding ministry Stop Hunger Now. An important element of the feeding ministry is purchasing the food. You can make a donation to the Stop Hunger Now meal packing mission when you register for the Annual Conference session, or if you've already registered for Annual Conference, you can make an online financial contribution. If you would like to participate contact Sue Ferris as she will be attending the event or email Kellie and she will email the link to sign up to you.

NATIVE AMERICAN SUNDAY: is April 19Through Native American Ministries Sunday, we’re able to equip & empower Native American pastors, congregations & seminary students to do what only they can do: authentically worship and serve Jesus. As a member of The United Methodist Church, your gift, on this day, equips Native congregations to worship and serve as only they can. Please give generously on April 19th.Together, we empower local spiritual  development and educate Native American Seminary Students to serve God’s Faithfull.”
