In Memoriam

Margery G. Keem, 94, of Perry passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw where she had been residing. Marge was born in the Town of Gainesville on May 11, 1923 a daughter of the late Albert and Hazel (Ellis) Grasby. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband; Nelson R. Keem who passed away on February 6, 1993; 2 son-in-law’s David Milhollen and Richard Ames; brother Donald Grasby and her mother and father-in-law Earl and Leta Keem.

She worked for the former Gates Transport Trucking Company in Perry for 12 years and later for Hart’s Insurance Co. in Perry as a commercial Insurance agent for 18 years before retiring in 1992. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Perry where she was involved with the United Methodist Women, a member of the Wyoming County Home Bureau, former Golden Age Club of Perry and the Senior Social Club of Perry. Marge enjoyed listening to country music, was an excellent pie maker, family and friends called her home “Grandma’s Pie Factory”, the biggest part of her life was family, she enjoyed those simple visits especially from her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She is survived by her two dedicated daughters; Judy (Bill Goewey) Milhollen of Leicester and Nancy Ames of Perry; 3 grandchildren Russell (Gay) Milhollen of Leicester, Douglas (Holly) Milhollen of Perry, Scott (Kellie) Milhollen of Perry; Step grandchildren Cynthia Sims, Samantha (Leigh) Ciesleiski and Christopher Sims; 7 great grandchildren Mark (Rachel) Milhollen, Rachele (Bob) True, Dustin (Ashley) Milhollen, Amber (Chris) True, Morgan, Autumn and Noelle Milhollen; 7 great-great grandchildren Averie True, Camden, Declan, and Harper Milhollen, Peyton True, Ciara Milhollen and Reese True; a sister Lena Mertz of Warsaw; sister-in-law Dorothy Grasby of Warsaw; brother-in-law Harry Boyer of Batavia, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9PM on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Eaton-Watson Funeral Home LLC. 98 North Main Street Perry, New York 14530. An 11:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Friday the 29th at the First United Methodist Church 35 Covington St. in Perry. She will be laid to rest in Warsaw Cemetery in Warsaw, NY.
