Greetings to all you.

Blessings and Peace during a difficult time. As I talk to members of the church during the week, most of you are doing ok. We have a few who are under the weather with other ailments and recovering from surgeries. 

Beginning this week, I will make sure to send a link to my recordings via email. Each recording is still available on our church website - www.pfumc14530.blogspot.com

and on our Facebook page - Perry First United Methodist Church.

This Sunday, Palm Sunday will find us all at home but with God's grace and the power of the Holy Spirit we will be able to worship together. There will be two links for this Sunday, the first my message and the second to a Service of Holy Communion. We truly believe that as the words of institution are shared over the airwaves the Holy Spirit is present. If you wish to share in this service, I would ask you to have a slice of bread, a roll or some other form of bread present along with a cup of grape juice or other suitable beverage before watching the video.

PAMA will have recordings for Holy Thursday(including the opportunity for Holy Communion), Good Friday (Stations of the Cross and the Tenebrae Service) and Easter Sunrise. Please watch for those announcements via email, Facebook and website.

Blessings to all of you as we enter this Holy Week. My prayer for all you is to be safe, practice safe physical distancing and wear a face protector when shopping. God is with us every step of the way.

I almost forgot, I challenge all of us, to get creative, find a way to create a palm branch with construction paper, foam, etc and display it on your door on Sunday.
