administrative council

It is with great reluctance that the Administrative Council accepted Denise Stowell’s resignation as conference member/representative/lay delegate.  However, Pastor Ray has been in contact with Mary Jane Bryant who was interested in taking her place.  With a Meissel/Milhollen motion, Mary Jane was nominated and accepted.  Conference will take place on May 29, 30 and 31^st.

Pastor Ray discussed the possibility of having an Ash Wednesday service on March 5^th at 7:00.  Ashes will be available if desired.

New flags in the sanctuary were donated by John and Jane Miller.

Carol Preen said that a rug for the handicap access area is on its way. 

It was reported that some progress has been made on the church directory.

Pastor Ray suggested it might be feasible for the Bishop to be able to attend our Bicentennial.  More will follow.

It was also reported that the possibility of having our church being a stand alone church next year is not probable. The next meeting will be Tuesday, March 11^th.
