General  Announcements


OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: shoe boxes will collected by November 16, so that they can be delivered to children in time for Christmas. Contact Jane Pascoe  – 237-2015 or japascoe@aol.com with any questions!

CHURCH CONFERENCE: BOTH of our church charge conferences (CUMC and PFUMC) will be held on Sat, Nov. 8th from 2-4pm at the Warsaw UMC.

CHURCH LEADERS: several forms need to be filled out and sent to the District Office by October 25th and November 1st. Please check your mailboxes for the forms and dates that they need to be done by so that you can plan your meetings accordingly. If you have questions...please see Pastor Ray as soon as possible.

COVINGTON UMC HAM DINNER: October 11th from 4-7 PM. Adults $9 and Under 12 $4.50. Takeouts available.

CCYM FALL GATHERINGSFall Gathering – WEST Nov. 21-22, 2014 at    Asbury First UMC, Rochester. Contact the church office or Pastor Ray soon for more information if you are interested in attending.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A Memorial Service for Dorothy Long will be held Saturday, October 4th at 2 PM at the Covington UMC. 

WORLD COMMUNION SUNDAY: is October 5thOn World Communion    Sunday your gift helps to provide scholarships for national and international graduate students whom God has gifted to learn and to serve.  Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.”  Because of your giving on World Communion Sunday, the most powerful tool to change the world is in more hands. Please give generously.
