OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD: shoe boxes will collected by November 16, so that they can be delivered to children in time for Christmas.

CHURCH CONFERENCE: BOTH of our church charge conferences (CUMC and PFUMC) will be held on Sat, Nov. 8th from 2-4pm at theWarsaw UMC.

CCYM FALL GATHERINGSFall Gathering – WEST Nov. 21-22, 2014 at    Asbury First UMC, Rochester. Contact the church office or Pastor Ray soon for more information if you are interested in attending.

UMW HARVEST BAZAAR: will be held on Sat. October 18th from 9-2. Baked Sale, Chinese Auction, Home-Made Items, Crafts, New to You Items and more. A Soup and Sandwich Luncheon will be served. Come join the fun!

GIVING TUESDAY IS COMING ~ This year’s online giving campaign will be on Dec. 2.  Last year on UMC #GivingTuesday, United Methodists collectively raised a record $6.5 million on line in through The Advance. United Methodists once again are invited to extend the spirit of giving thanks into the Advent season by participating in UMC #GivingTuesday. Visit www.umcmission.org/give to search for Advance projects and give.

AFRICA 360 CHALLENGE: Bishop Mark Webb has issued an “Africa 360 Challenge” that each congregation in Upper NY raises at least $1000 between now and the next year’s annual conference to help reach the goal of contributing $1 million to the “Imagine No Malaria” campaign. As a congregation that raised over $1000 for Heifer International this spring, how will we respond to the Bishop’s Challenge? Let’s go for it!

ANGELS TO ANGELS:  You are invited by the Church World Service (CWS) to become an angel by sending your own message to the women and children who are seeking asylum while being detained at the Artesia Family Residential Center in New Mexico. Almost 700 mothers and children fled the violence in Central America and have had little contact with the world outside. If you are interested in participating in the Angel-to-Angel program please contact
